Aims of the Association

The aim of the Association is to foster in a practical form the spirit of comradeship, co-operation and mutual service founded in No 24 Squadron Royal Flying Corps and Royal Air Force based on the 'special relationship' that extends between present and ex-members of the Squadron.

Membership

Anyone who has served with : - No 24 Squadron Royal Flying Corps No 24 Squadron Royal Air Force in whatever capacity, including honorary members, shall be eligible for membership of the Association from 1915 - to date.

A few facts about the Association

Formed in 1986 to promote a "special relationship" between present and ex-members of the Squadron. President Gp Capt Keith Chapman. Chairman Sam Wright.

Membership currently in excess of 180. Reunions are hosted annually by the current Operational 24 Squadron at RAF Brize Norton, normally 1st week in October.

Opportunity to meet Squadron personnel, look over current aircraft, and tour round RAF Brize Norton each Reunion.

Full display of Squadron history, photographs, memorabilia and records on show each year.

Option to attend DJ/Evening dress 'Ladies Guest Night' along with Squadron personnel in Service Mess or Equivalent.

Mid year Summer Social event decided by members at AGM to other venues (e.g. Hendon, Northolt, War Museum)

Web site and BLog to keep members in touch and includes a resume of the current 24 Squadron
activities.
